Providing Everybody Quality Service at an Affordable Price

We understand that cost is one of the last things anyone wants to deal with when preparing for a loved one’s funeral. At Fitchett-Mann Funeral Services, we offer compassionate and quality services at an affordable price.


PROFESSIONAL SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF

Basic Services of Funeral Director & Staff $1,300

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Our basic service charge includes but is not limited to consultation with the family and others; procurements, separation and filing of necessary notices, authorization and consents, custody of the body, filing of death certificates and obtaining permits, general administrative record keeping and other general operation expenses and supervision of minimum activities. Supervision and attendants for visitation, arrangements of flowers and memorial tributes, coordination and direction of requested funeral services prior to, during and following the funeral, including coordinating with those providing other portions of funeral, such as cemetery, crematory and/or other forwarding or receiving funeral home. This fee for our services will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select

EMBALMING
Normal remains $900
Autopsy, Accident, Disaster, Or Organ Donation $1,200


Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.


OTHER PREPARATION OF THE DECEASED

General Preparation & Restorative including dressing, casketing, washing & cosmetology

NOTE: When embalming is not desired, the natural progression of decomposition causes the likelihood of unpleasant odors to be present. We therefore require that any services conducted with the unembalmed remains present and not in a gasketed sealed container be conducted within 3 days from date of death.


FUNERAL HOME FACILITIES AND STAFF

Facilities, Equipment and Staff for Visitation and Viewing 
3 hours $350 | 5 Hours $550

Our charges include staff supervision, attendants for visitation, viewing of remains (if requested), directing family and guest flow, arrangements of flowers and other memorial tributes.

Facilities and Staff for Funeral/Memorial Service at Our Chapel $800

Our charges include funeral director and trained staff for the arranging and directing of the service, set up and use of facilities, chapel music and other equipment, parking assistance, flowers, supervising and directing guest flow, orderly supervision of family, and viewing if requested.


Equipment and Staff for Funeral Service/Graveside Service $350

Our charges include funeral director and trained staff for the arranging and directing of the service, placement of flowers, supervising and directing guest flow, orderly supervision of family, and viewing if requested.


Facilities for Administrative, Arrangements, Preparation & Holding (Custody Of Embalmed Remains)

Our charges include use of facilities for administrative rooms, offices, preparation room, dressing room, chapel, slumber rooms, etc. *NOTE: There will be a charge of $75.00 per day if we need to hold remains after 10 days.

Refrigeration  $75 per day

Our charges include the price of refrigeration for unembalmmed remains after 3 days

Facilities for Private Autopsy  $350
Our charge includes necessary refrigeration, use of preparation room for autopsy and OSHA required cleaning & disinfecting of prep room after the examination. This fee does not include any fees or expenses related to or including the Pathologist.


IMMEDIATE BURIAL

Immediate burial with container provider by purchaser

Our charge (without ceremony or viewing) includes transfer of remains to funeral home, basic services of funeral director and staff, necessary authorizations, and transportation to cemetery. This charge does not include use of facilities and staff for any visitation or ceremony, public or private, prior to burial.


DIRECT CREMATION

Direct cremation with container provided by purchaser

Our charge (without ceremony or viewing) includes transfer of remains to the funeral home, basic services of the funeral director and staff, cremation pouch and transportation to crematory and cremation, after medical examiner investigation, fee, and authorization. State and local laws do not require a casket for direct cremation. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition material (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are composite composition. (Oversized cases will have additional costs)


TRANSFER OF REMAINS TO FUNERAL ESTABLISHMENT (20 miles) $400

Our charge for local transfer to establishment includes hearse for transportation & two men for removal.


FORWARDING REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $2,675

Our charge includes transfer of remains to the funeral home, basic services of the funeral director and staff, embalming, and local transfer or Airport service. (Merchandise not included)


RECEIVING REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $1,675

Our charge includes basic services of the funeral director and staff and transportation of remains to the cemetery.


AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT

*All transportation charges beyond 20 miles add $4.50 per loaded mile.

“In most areas of the country, state or local law does not require you to buy a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have a container so that the grave will not sink in. Either a burial vault or a grave liner will satisfy these requirements.”


CASH ADVANCE ITEMS

We charge 20% for all cash advance items.


INSURANCE PROCESSING FEE

We charge 5% to process all insurance claims and we use a funding company to process all claims.


SUMMARY

The total fee for basic services includes professional services, services of the funeral director and staff, funeral home facilities, overhead costs, and all items included and needed to perform the service you requested.


DISCLOSURE

Charges shown are for those items that you selected or that are required. If we are required by law or by the cemetery to use any item, we will explain in writing.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any item you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

This list doesn’t include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you, such as cemetery or crematory services, flowers, and newspaper notices. The prices for these items will be shown on your bill or statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected. Certain funeral services may be provided off-premises by other funeral service providers.
