Chesapeake- Vicki Lynn (Lawrence) Newsome was born December 8, 1961 to the late Christine and Robert Lawrence. She entered into eternal rest surrounded by family and friends on April 2, 2026. She is predeceased by her husband, Ronnie Newsome, and her parents.

Vicki was a loving and dedicated mother, sister, and friend. She was warm, vibrant, and passionate about plants and thrifting. She touched all with her kindness.

Vicki is survived by her loving daughter and primary caregiver: Angel Newsome; Sons: Victor Lawrence, Ronnie Newsome, and Robert Newsome, all of Chesapeake, VA; Bonus son: Rodredis Johnson; Eight loving grandchildren: Victoria Wiggins, Madison White, Morgan White, Angel Mills, Achoye Newsome, Terron Smith, Harlem Newsome, and Cyaire Newsome; Sisters: Ava Lawrence, Karen Dodson, and Prell Lawrence; Brothers: Robert Lawrence Jr., Ronald Lawrence, and Sandy Lawrence, and a host of extended family and friends.
