Chesapeake-Theresa Elizabeth Mayo, of the 2600 Block of Hemple Street, departed this life on Thursday; August 21, 2025.  Theresa was born in Norfolk County to the late Johnnie Wilson and Velma Palmer. She will always be remembered by her daughters, sons, grandchildren, siblings, and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday; August 28, 2025 at Fellowship United Church of Christ; 1402 Gust Lane; Chesapeake,VA with Rev. Ronnie Hall, officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach.  Viewing will be 5-7pm Wednesday; August 27, 2025 at Fitchett-Mann FS; 1821 E. Liberty Street; Chesapeake, VA  23324.  Please keep the family in your prayers.
