Chesapeake- It is with great sadness that we announce the earthly transition of Mr. Rudolph "Rudy" Jones, Jr.  He passed away peacefully at home on Friday; September 19, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 22, 1969 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Rudolph Jones, Sr. and the late Andreau L. Johnson.

Rudy is survived by his loving wife, Dr. Monique F. Jones; four children: Parris D. Jones, Demi White (Anthony), Michaela Jones, and Sanje Jones; stepfather, Robert A. Johnson; four grandchildren, Blair, Carter, Toni, and Rhyan; one brother, Cedric D. Jones; two sisters; Andrea Y. Jones-Hoskie and Kejuana S. Boone (Quince); and many other relatives and friends.

A  service celebrating his life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday; October 4, 2025 at New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church; 1765 S. Military Highway; Chesapeake, VA  23320.  Viewing for the public will be 4-6pm Friday; October 3, 2025  at Fitchett-Mann FS; 1146 Rodgers Street; Chesapeake; VA  23324 and 2 hrs. prior to service Saturday morning.  Burial will be Sunday morning in Butts Family Cemetery; Camden, NC.

The family will be receiving family and friends on Wednesday; October 1, 2025 from 5:30-7:30pm at the home.  Please continue to keep the family in your prayers.
