Chesapeake- God’s devoted Servant, Rosa Banks, was called to rest by our Heavenly Father on July 4, 2026.

Rosa was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Roger McCoy and Mildred Harper. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Rosa was well known for serving others. She was a native of Chesapeake, VA and she was a servant of Norfolk General Hospital where she retired from after 40+ years.

Rosa is survived by her daughter, Anita Jenkins; four sons, Wilbert Banks, Jr., Roy Banks, Tyrone Banks, and Walter Banks, Jr. Also left to cherish the loving memories, of Rosa, are 19 grandchildren, great great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, and a host of cousins and friends.
