Obituary

Chesapeake-On Monday, September 29, 2025, Randolph answered God's call and peacefully transitioned from earth to heaven. Randolph ''Boss Hog'' was born on May 13, 1946 in Norfolk County to the late William and Velma Scott.

He attended George Washington Carver High School in Chesapeake, Va.  After high school, he joined the United States Army where he served for two years. Shortly after his military service concluded, he joined the Longshoreman International Assocation Local #1248. Randolph was a faithful member of Messengers Men's Club where he served as Past Master at Malachi 136.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by four siblings: William Scott Ill, Willie Scott, Celestine Davenport and Curtis Hill

Randolph leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Eula Scott of 55 years; five children: Sebrina Lewis (Artie) of Suffolk, Randolph Scott Jr. (Drena) of Chesapeake, Sterrell Scott of Chesapeake, Toria Edmonds (Maurice) of Suffolk and Randall Scott (Leslie) of Chesapeake. He also leaves to cherish eighteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren; seven siblings: Sterling Scott (Theresa), Vaughn Scott, Patricia Scott, Antoinette Burton (David), Kevin Hill (Georgia), Marvin Hill (Nedra)and Carla Young Ferguson;and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:30am Thursday; October  9, 2025 at Cathedral of Faith COGIC; Chesapeake.  Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.  Viewing will be 4-6pm Wednesday; October 8, 2025 at Fitchett-Mann Funeral Services; 1821 Liberty Street; Chesapeake, VA  23324.
