Hampton-Ramona was a loving mother,sister,daughter and friend. She was reliable and dedicated herself to the well-being of others. If you ever felt down and needed encouragement you could always count on her to be there in your corner. Ramona passed away on June 20,2025 at the age of 64. She was born on June 27,1960 to Roland Holloway Jr. and Shirley Holloway [predeceased]. Ramona grew up in the tidewater area and enjoyed singing from All-City Chorus to the church choir at Mt. Zion Baptist with her sisters.

After completing high school at Oscar F. Smith as well as further education at Norfolk State University Ramona enlisted in the United States Army and dedicated her service to the country. Following her enlistment, she navigated her way into the civilian workforce where she worked at Gateway Computer Company and lastly Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia where she also resided for the remainder of her earthly time

Ramona is survived by her two sons Oliver Johnson Jr of Florida and William Rawles of Hampton, brothers Roland Holloway (Rebecca) of Chesapeake, Mark Holloway (Sharonda) of Providence Forge, Kevin Holloway (Charolotte) of Maryland, Chris Holloway (Deborah) of Virginia Beach, Curtis Holloway of Chesapeake, sisters Shirley Parker of Norfolk, Darlene Gee (Larry) of Virginia Beach, Rolanda Green (Reginald) of Chesapeake, Carla Holloway (John) of Chesapeake and Margaret Collins (Eric) of Newport News; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 1pm Friday; July 18, 2025 at  Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery; 5310 Milners Rd.;                     Suffolk, Virginia 23434.  Please keep the family in your prayers.
