Chesapeake- Phyllis Luanne Perry, age 71, born July 3, 1954 and a lifelong resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, entered eternal rest on January 29, 2026 at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.  Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Charles K. Demary and Mildred Lee Perry, and her brother, Keith Lynn Perry.

Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Prentice Perry (Victoria), brothers, Chris Perry, Cornell Perry (Tiffany), and Donnie Perry; sisters, Patricia Askew, Carol Liggins, Yvonne Overton (John), and Cynthia Spencer (Clarence); grandchildren, Sessely Richardson, Tina Richardson, Javari Richardson, Lamya Perry, Princess Belamy, Cameron Baker; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Noon Saturday; February 7, 2026 at Rehoboth AME Church; 405 Shell Road; Chesapeake, VA  23323.  Viewing will be 2 hours prior to service.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens; Chesapeake, VA.  Please continue to pray for the family.
