Mr. Morris Jackson was born May 7, 1934 in Buena Vista, Georgia to the late James and Gracie T. Jackson. God, in loving mercy and tender compassion, called Mr. Jackson home to rest on Sunday; June 25, 2023 while at his home in Chesapeake, Va.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Lottie Moon (Dexter); grandaughter, D'Yani Moon; two brothers: Herbert Jackson of Cusseta, Georgia, and Mercer Jackson of Columbus, Georgia; one sister, Gladys Kelly of Lansing, Michigan; extended family: Naomi Arnold (James), Edugar McLee (Patricia), Henderson McLee (Wita), Ilinda Johnson, Jessie McLee (Clarence), Margaret Skinner, Kenneth Moore, Tony Lee, Lottie McLee (Alexander), Takisha Locke, Tyrail Eason; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be Noon Wednesday; July 5, 2023 at Fitchett-Mann Funeral Services; 1146 Rodgers Street; Chesapeake, VA 23324.
