Chesapeake- On Monday, July 28, 2025, Mareader Ann Hucherson Cobbs, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Chesapeake, Virginia.  Mareader was born and raised in East Tallassee, Alabama.  She moved to Morristown, New Jersey in the early 1960's where she lived until she moved to Chesapeake, Virginia to live with her daughter.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on 11:00 am Tuesday; August 12, 2025 at Rehoboth A.M.E. Church; 405 Shell Road; Chesapeake, VA.  Viewing will be at 4-6pm Monday; August 11, 2025 at Fitchett-Mann Funeral Home; 1146 Rodgers Street, Chesapeake, Virginia.
