Kimani Lashawn Prostell was born Thursday, July 20, 1995 and left this life behind on Sunday August 6, 2023. Kimani was a very outspoken, quick-witted, beautiful lady that will have you laughing in one moment and then have you looking at her with your mouth gaped open in the next. She had away with words. She loved to sing. Those that she loved, she loved hard!! Kimani lived her life unapologetically, bold, loud and was very confident. She loved her some her.

Kimani was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Floyd Prostell Sr., her aunt Sharon (Prostell) Johnson, her uncle, Floyd Prostell, Jr "UncleHot Lashes" and her uncle, Wilbert "Smitty" Smith, Jr.

Kimani leaves behind to cherish the many memories her mother, Fran Prostell (BeeBee to Mani), her dad, Dwayne Clary (DaaDEEEEE to Mani), her brother, Dwayne Harper (Bradre to Mani) sisters, Audrey Harper (Billy to Mani) and Zykyah Clary (TaeShawna to Mani). Kimani also leaves four nieces, A'onesty Marquez (Stoogey to Mani), Aubre Romain (June Bug to Mani), Autumn Marquez (Autumn A'Daye to Mani) & Bodhi Harper (Bo to Mani). Maternal Grandmother, Mildred Prostell (Sexy to Mani) with whom she had a very special bond. God Parents Angela and Herman Hicklin (also aunt and uncle), God sisters Kimberly Robinson (Demond) and Tiffany Wooten (Demetrius) (also cousins). Paula Billups (aunt), Shawn Prostell (Uncle), - first cousins Lalatae Prostell (Kizzy), Antione Prostell, Carl Prostell, Trevis Prostell, Marcus Prostell, and Brian Prostell. A host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kimani also leaves to cherish her memory best friends Rayvon Dozier-Santiago known as "Puerto Rico" to Kimani & Ti'Andra Fisher known as" Honey Bunchezz of Mochahontas Oatz". She also leaves to cherish hermemory her dearest friend whom she called "Baby Mama", Lauren "Lah" Allen and her Goddaughter Dream. Her favorite cousin Michael "Lil Tony"Saunders whom Mani referred to as "Son".

Honorary aunties & cousins – Auntie Andrea, Auntie Carla, Auntie Precious, Auntie Cheryl, Aryn, Jalen, Isis, Keyasia, Tariq, & Jarae.

Funeral will be 11am Monday; August 14, 2023 at Fitchett-Mann Funeral Services; 1146 Rodgers st., Chesapeake, VA 23324. There will be no public viewing.
