A Triumphant Celebration of Life will be held Noon Saturday; August 24, 2024 at New Bethel Disciple of Christ; 10550 US Highway 64 E; Roper, NC 27970. Viewing of her earthly remains will be held 5-7:30 Friday; August 23, 2024 at Solid Rock Disciples of Christ; 1025 Kenton Avenue; Norfolk, VA. It will be an adjustment for Mrs. Hazel's family and friends not being able to spend time with her any longer while here. However, the silver lining is just as the songwriter penned, "When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory."

Burial will be at New Bethel Church of Christ Disciples of Christ in Roper, NC. It is in this place that her physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.
