Chesapeake-On the morning of June 1, 2025, God called home one of his faithful servants, Isaac Orwa, to be with Him. Isaac accepted the Lord as his personal savior at an early age in Siaya County, Kenya. A man of unwavering faith, Isaac was born on January 28, 1973, in Siaya County, Kenya, to the late Don Odera Orwa and Anne Orwa. Isaac graduated from Miranda High School in Kenya and moved to the United States a decade later.
Isaac served in the United States Navy and earned numerous awards during his enlistment. After leaving the military, he worked as a long-distance truck driver and in various other positions while working on his college degree. Isaac earned his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and went on to work for various law enforcement agencies. At the time of his passing, Isaac was employed by the federal government.
Isaac believed in starting his day by reading his Bible. He attended church services whenever his work schedule allowed. He enjoyed cooking different food from his native country in East Africa. He especially enjoyed creating dishes that his beloved mother would cook for him. During his free time, Isaac enjoyed watching movies, especially documentaries. He was an avid soccer fan who enjoyed traveling, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
Isaac leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Anne Orwa; his brother, Tom Muyale Orwa (Grace); his precious nieces: Meryline Akinyi and Rose Mackline Atieno; and his nephew, Dan Barclay Odiambo. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, his loving partner, Teresa; other relatives and friends.
