North Carolina-GERALDINE STANBACK, 78, transitioned on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was born on
February 24, 1947 to the late George Washington Lee and the late Corene Hendricks in Murfreesboro, NC. In addition to her parents,
Gerri was predeceased by her husband Jacob Stanback and her two brothers:Glenn Cowper and Randolph Lee.

She leaves to celebrate her life, one brother Carlton Branch (Mildred); two sisters: Margaret Cowper and Joyce Blackmon; an adopted daughter, Carol Dolberry; five uncles and five aunts; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Geraldine will be laid to rest 11am October 10, 2025 at Olive Branch Cemetery in Portsmouth, VA beside her husband Jacob. As Believers, we rejoice because we KNOW that Geraldine has gained her Heavenly Reward of Eternal Life!! To God be the Glory!!
