Va. Beach-God called our sweet angel home to be with Him on November 16, 2025. Charity Sherell Wilson was born September 13, 1969, in Norfolk, VA to the late Leroy & Louise McNair Jr. Charity was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend.

Charity graduated from Granby High School in Norfolk, VA and went on to graduate from Job Corps in Lynchburg, VA.  Over the years, Charity was employed at Lake Taylor Hospital, First Data, and Southeastern Training Center. Charity was a faithful member of God's Little Acre Pentecostal Church where Rev. Margaret Banks is the Pastor.

Charity will be missed for her loving, caring, and giving heart, her love of singing and dancing, and her love and support of her family.

Charity leaves behind to cherish her memories: her loving husband William Wilson of 27 years. He was right by her side throughout it all. William is a true testament of "In Sickness and In Health."  She also leaves behind her children:  Trey McNair, Shayla Wilson and Nikka Gail (Vonne).  They all took the best care of their mom. Charity loved and cherished her 4 grandchildren; her sisters: Faith Chambliss and Hope Chandler (Tracy); her brothers: Troy McNair (Juanita) and Leroy McNair Jr.; Godmother, Deborah Love; aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends to the end: Darlene, Martha Ann, Karen and Brenda.   Charity will truly be missed. Until we meet again, take your rest!

A funeral service will be held 11am Monday; November 24, 2025 at Providence UCC; 2200 Vicker Ave; Chesapeake, VA 23324. Viewing will be 3-5pm Sunday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery; Norfolk, VA.  Please check back later for the full obituary. Continue to keep the family in prayer.
