Norfolk-On Friday; November 21, 2025, God looked down and called Carlton E. Scott home to his eternal rest.  Carlton was born December 12, 1961 in Norfolk, VA to the late Vernon Scott and Alice Jones Scott.

Carlton grew up and attended schools in Norfolk, VA. Before his health declined, he attended Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, worked in the hospitality industry, and also in the health care field for many years providing services to those in need.

Carlton was known for his style and fashion.  He loved to dress up in his suits (bright colors) and put on his hat.  Carlton loved his family and could tell you who everybody was related to in the family (living and deceased).  Carlton loved angels and his house was adorned in them.  His beautiful smile and laugh will be remembered always.

Preceding Carlton in death besides his parents, was one brother, Kevin Scott.  He leaves to cherish precious memories, one sister, Karen Scott; one nephew; his beloved aunt, Carolyn Mann; special cousin, Darryl Mann (Danielle); his devoted friend and caretaker, Shay Tucker; special friends: Sharon Jordan; Ms. Bonnie; and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11am Saturday; December 13, 2025 at Fitchett-Mann FS; 1146 Rodgers Street; Chesapeake; VA  23324.  Viewing will be 1 hour prior to service.

The family is taking donations to assist with services for Caulton.  All donations are to made directly to the funeral home please.
