Chesapeake-In his infinite wisdom, God called our beloved husband, son, father, brother, uncle and friend, Alfred Casterdale Turner, Jr. home to his eternal rest on July 3,  2025.

Alfred was born on July 24, 1974 at Norfolk General to the parents of Alfred Casterdale and Emma Turner, Sr. He grew up in the Crestwood section of Chesapeake, Virginia.  On January 26, 2008, he married his best friend, Chamire Cachet Turner. He was affectionately known as "Blac" and to know him was to truly love him. His witty personality, realness, and heart was contagious to many. He loved to joke, spend time with family, and eat good food while enjoying life.

Left to cherish precious memories is his wife Chamire Turner, his children; Torius Langston and Aiyana Brown, parents Alfred Casterdale & Emma Turner, Sr., his sisters; Monique Turner Young and Montreal Turner Pope, nephews; Marquis Turner (Tiffany), Terence Young (Dasiana), Trameque Young, Ashanti Turner, Tracy Pope Jr., and niece Taijah Young.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday; July 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Fitchett-Mann Funeral Services,  1821 E. Liberty Street, Chesapeake, Virginia 23324. Viewing will be 4-6pm Friday.
